CCS Pre-K to 8th

Where academics lead to a stronger, healthier community!

Crosslake Community Schools' Pre-K-8 program offers a unique learning environment, specializing in multi-age classrooms and parent, teacher, student partnerships. By design, our classes are limited to 19 students - providing for very personalized, high quality educational experiences that are difficult to duplicate in larger school settings.

CCS is an annual recipient of the Minnesota Department of Education’s Finance award, indicating strong fiscal management and health. CCS has also been granted “Reward Status” with the Minnesota Department of Education for the past two years, recognizing us as one of the top 15% of all schools in the state of Minnesota on MCA test scores and our closing of the achievement gap.  In 2016, CCS was recognized by MDE as a “High Quality Charter School”, making us one of the top 35 Public Charter Schools in the State of Minnesota.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program
  • Our school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
  • Classes are capped at 19 students
  • 1 licensed teacher, 1 paraprofessional (when more than 10 students).
