Foster Grandparents
Mary Klein
I worked as a registered nurse for 37 years. My Husband is Tim and "our baby" is a five year old golden retriever. When I saw the ad for Foster Grandparents, I thought that would be a good fit for me. I have been a Foster Grandmother at CCS for five years. This School is a wonderful place to be. Working with the children can be challenging at times, but mostly a huge blessing in my life! All the staff give their all to these children. We never had children and through the years I was used to being called "Aunt Mary" and now to be called "Grandma Mary" is music to my ears! |

From the time that I was six years old until I retired, I loved school. I either was involved as a student, a parent volunteer, or a teaching assistant. I became a Foster Grandparent after I retired because I missed being around an education environment and I especially missed the children. Crosslake Community School is a very good school with great staff, and an asset to our community. I love the kids! |
