Kris Fjelstul

​School Social Worker

Kris came to Crosslake from Walker, MN. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, as well as Bemidji State University, and received her degree in Social Work from Bemidji State University. She is licensed by both the MN Board of Social Work as well as the MN Department of Education.

Kris has been working in the area of children’s services for over 25 years in the fields of child protection, children’s mental health CTSS, and providing mental health and social skills in a school day treatment and social services setting.

​Kris has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Her youngest son attended CCS from Kindergarten through 8th grades. Kris enjoys the Crosslake community and connecting students and families with all that the school and community have to offer.
