Each year, the Crosslake Community Schools’ Board of Education engages an independent accounting firm to review the District’s financial statements and provide an objective assessment of its financial reporting.

For Fiscal Year 2024–25, the independent auditors issued CCS an unmodified opinion, meaning the District’s financial statements were found to fairly present its financial position, in all material respects, in accordance with applicable accounting standards. An unmodified opinion is the strongest opinion an auditor can issue on financial statements.

The results reflect CCS’s continued focus on responsible financial management, accurate reporting and stewardship of public resources.
