Wear Orange for Unity Day on October 21!

Dear CCS Community,

On Wednesday, October 21, CCS invites all students and staff to wear orange in recognition of Unity Day, a national day dedicated to promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion while taking a stand against bullying.

Here's how you can participate:

• Wear Orange: Students and staff across both CCS schools are encouraged to wear orange to show their support
• Online School Unity Day Assembly: Online students and staff are invited to come together for a virtual Unity Day assembly from 2-3pm
• Spread Kindness: Look for opportunities to encourage others and make a positive difference in someone's day

Unity Day was started in 2011 by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, right here in Minnesota. Today, schools and communities across the country wear orange as a visible show of support for one another. Unity Day is a reminder that even small actions can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help create a school community where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and supported.

We invite everyone across CCS to wear orange on October 21 and help make kindness visible throughout our school community!
